CCSD provided consulting support to facilitate "Responsible mining and its legal environment" virtual training targeted for Dornod aimag’s Governor’s office, environmental specialists, soum inspectors, authorities, and rangers during January 20-21, 2021. Initially the training was planned to be conducted in November 2020, however due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the training was delivered in January 2021 via Zoom platform. The trainers and trainees are adapted to traditional learning methods, however in response to COVID-19, capacity building organizations, trainers, instructors, and participants are switching to new method - virtual learning. Traditional learning almost fully depends on the organizers, which allows them to keeps the participants engaged during the whole session. While conducting virtual training remotely has advantages, such as time and resource saving, reaching full satisfactory depends on both side full engagement.
